Committees:  What we've got & WHO we need!    Please let us know if you can help.

FUNDRAISING:  L.A.P.S. would like to accomplish more by seeking more financial support through bequests, donations, & estate planning.   Thus far, we have depended on events, grants & membership dues to fund our programs.   We need someone qualified to do the necessary paperwork for these kind of donations.

We also need people who are willing to contact businesses and/or individuals who might be interested in contributing to L.A.P.S. annually or for a specific event.

EVENTS:  Get involved with a fun event!

CANINE 4K Feline No-Way:    We start the fundraising & sponsors search as early as April or May & it's alot of work to bring it all together by early August, so if you know someone who's been overlooked by us ........ please talk with them & then call us to contact them if they would like to contribute money, prizes or time!   We are always looking for new ideas to surprise you with.

PET PHOTOS WITH SANTA & THE GRINCH:  2001 saw the addition of the Grinch to our popular fundraiser.   We doubled our revenue that year!   The weather is usually good and the company is excellent while you wait for your turn with the Jolly or the Green!   We can always use some help with this ....... from pet owner control to registration.   In 2003, we streamlined & offered photos with Santa, Grinch or Both for the same price (or 2nd pose at half-price).     All proceeds benefit L.A.P.S.  and you will be creating some of the Kodak moments of your life with your best pal!

NEW for 2009 is our SANTA PAWS DONATIONS, where L.A.P.S. will have donation bins in all the local pet stores and veterinarian offices to collect either a toy or treats for the needy pets in Summit County. If you would like to donate an item, please visit one of those locations and if you or someone you know, is having a tough time with their Christmas gifts for their pets, please make a copy of our Santa Paws donation form, fill it out and mail it to L.A.P.S. by Dec 7th. L.A.P.S. will distribute the toys and treats in mid-December to the pets named on the donation forms, limited to a first come, first serve basis. Help L.A.P.S. put one of those delightful smiles on the face of someone's pet this Holiday season.
