Let's Go Boating at the Dillon Marina - Father's Day weekend 2010

LAPS dog friendly charity events in Summit County Colorado (Frisco, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, Dillon, Copper Mountain, Keystone)   Lets Go Boating at the Dillon Colorado Marina on Fathers Day charity event for LAPS

WHEN:  Father's Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, June 19th and 20th 2010
WHERE:  Dillon Colorado Marina
TIME:  10:00 AM TILL 5:00 PM with pre-registration available each morning.
COST:  $20 Adults, $10 for 12 and under

Enjoy a 45 minute cruise around beautiful Lake Dillon on either a captained sailboat or pontoon boat. Children under 12 can only go on the pontoons. Each boat is captained by its generous owner who volunteers both the boat and the time to help the needy pets of Summit County". NO DOGS ALLOWED on the boats, but 100% of all proceeds benefit L.A.P.S. Most boats accomodate at least 4-6 people, so sign up with your friends or family and enjoy it together! Dads everywhere will be jealous of the lucky fathers who get surprised with a lake cruise instead of yet another ugly tie! In case of inclement weather, you can book your sail for another time slot or get a refund, but L.A.P.S. appreciates any donations (tax deductible). EXPERIENCED CAPTAINS allow you to sit back and relax and think about telling the folks back home about sailing at over 9,000 feet above sea level!

100% of all proceeds benefit L.A.P.S.

WELCOME to our meetings!
We meet at 6:30 pm on the third Thursday of each month at Abbey's Coffee in Frisco on Main Street next to BackCountry Brewery.   Please join us as a member of L.A.P.S. or just come to the meeting to get aquainted.   Energetic, involved people are always needed to serve as board members and to help with special events around Summit County.   We look forward to hearing from you.   LAPS events for dogs in Summit County includes Dog Terra, Canine 4K Feline No-Way, and Pet Photos with Santa and Grinch.   Let's Go Sailing on Father's Day weekend at Dillon Marina benefits L.A.P.S. but dogs can't sail with you.

L.A.P.S. is spearheading the effort to get Dog Parks in Summit County.   We need volunteers to form local committees and attend local government meetings to lobby for dog parks in your town.   Please email us at laps@colorado.net if you can help with this.   Left click here to view the Dog Park detail page.
